1,195.00

Adam's Brother's Style. Excellent original condition, with Adam style urn and swags and original mirror. This special piece has a fantastic provenance of belonging to Margaret Porter Butler, wife of Robert Butler, Ambassador to Australia and Cuba under President Harry Truman. They all (including the mirror) "lived" harmoniously together, in both embassies! A stunningly special piece to add to your collections of historic decor. Depicting the 18th-century neoclassical style of interior design and architecture, as practiced by three Scottish brothers, of whom Robert Adam (1728–1792) and James Adam (1732–1794) were the most widely known.
